Bubble Alumina
Bubble Alumina is a new type refractory material made from electro-fusion high grade industrial alumina. It is a white hollow sphere alumina raw material, featured by its Low Density, High Surface Porosity, Light Weight, High Refractory Temperature and High Chemical Stability. Its main chemistry is alpha aluminium oxide(α-Al2O3, more than 99%).
It’s obtained from electro-fusion of high grade alumina in electric furnace, and shaped by pressed air blow. Because of its special structure, it has very low weight, low density and high surface porosity. With more than 99% alumina, it has high refractory temperature and strength and low thermal conductivity. And thanks to our high performance production line, we produce Bubble Alumina with low breakage rate and high purity. It can be used to make various types of refractory and fireproof products, and used in industrial kiln in cement, glass, metallurgical and petrochemical industries. It has become a new type of refractory material more and more commonly used to reduce raw material and energy consumption.
