The Use of Silicon Carbide Micro Powder
Micro powder is silicon carbide raw block after crushing the Raymond machine and jet mill, ball mill, shaping machine for grinding after the formation of 100um to fine silicon carbide products. The application scope of silicon carbide powder is more and more widely, and the demand is further increased.
Silicon carbide micro powder has high hardness, high wear resistance, high thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion coefficient and high temperature strength. Mainly used for wire cutting of 3 to 12 inches monocrystalline silicon, polycrystalline silicon and potassium arsenide, quartz crystal . It is the physical processing materials of solar photovoltaic industry, semiconductor industry and piezoelectric crystal industry .
Major new use of the silicon carbide powder:
1. Modification of high strength nylon alloy : mainly used for armored tracked vehicle polymer parts, steering parts, textile machinery, mining machinery lining board, the train parts and so on. It can reach into sintering densification under the low temperature.
2. Modification of special engineering plastics polyether ether ketone (PEEK) wear-resisting performance: After treated with coupling agent on the surface of ultrafine ,silicon carbide micro powder can greatly improve and raise the wearability of PEEK when adding quantity is approximately 10%.
3. The application of silicon carbide powder in rubber tyre: add a certain amount of micro silicon carbide without changing collagen modified formula, and without reducing its performance and quality under the premise of its wear resistance can be increased by 15% - 30%.
