Alumina Powder Price Increase
According to our supplier, China produced Alumina Powder is expected to have price increase of about 400RMB per Metric Ton.
This increase is considered to be a increase which will not last too long by relevant parties, considering the continously reduced requirement and low economy. Prices of Alumina Powder and Aluminium have been in low position for a long time. According to the data released by IAI on Sep.20th, global daily output(excluding China)of Aluminium in August dropped to 69100 Metric Tons, compared to 69300 of July. Total output of August is 2.141 Million Metric Tons, lower than 2.148 Million of July.
Price of White Fused Alumina is expected to increase at least 400RMB per ton. Alumina Powder is the most important raw material of White Fused Alumina.
China Domestic Transportation Cost Increase
Effected by the campain of restricting goods load weight on trucks by China government, domestic transportation cost has seen a 20%min cost increase from Sep.20th. For trucks to Xingang port, total load weight could be 40 metric tons before, while less than 32.5 metric tons now.
Fused Alumina Factories in Henan Province still being Closed
Because of government campaine on environment protection, fused alumina factories in Henan Province is still being closed. No confirmed news on when it will be normal untill now. Brown Fused Alumina and White Fused Alumina factories in Luoyang and Zhengzhou areas are all closed including furnaces, grading equipment, dust removal equipment etc.
Since this has last for some days, more companies are running out of stock. If this situation continues, price of Brown Fused Alumina and White Fused Alumina are expected to increase dramatically and supply will be restricted.
