Therefore, to achieve its atomic order removal, to obtain an ultra-smooth surface, nano-scale polishing abrasives must be used. The surface of the glass-ceramic surface is separated from the body of the workpiece by the impact of the abrasive particles and is removed. The atomic removal process is the collision, diffusion and filling process of the abrasive and the workpiece at the atomic level. Therefore, grinding and polishing are the main processes for processing glass-ceramics .
